We’ve been lucky to shoot a vast number of weddings over our nine years as wedding photographers, and one of the biggest changes we’ve seen to the industry is a wealth of new and exciting places to have a wedding day. You may be eyeing up dancing the night away in that warehouse space, or maybe a beautifully vintage village hall wedding is your dream. One thing is for certain, if you are not getting married in a traditional venue, having some sort of connection with a wedding planner is pretty essential in our books, and many of you have

Today we’re throwing it back to 2016, to a fabulous winter wedding in the Cotswolds. It was a full weekend affair, (we love wedding weekends, always such an incredible atmosphere!) at the beautiful Cripps Barn in Bibury – a traditional stone barn in the Cotswolds. Hayley, who’s known Lina for a fair few years from their 9-5 days, asked us for wedding venue recommendations in the Cotswolds area, and we had to recommend Cripps Barn. We shot a great wedding there a few years ago, and we knew they’d love it – the setting is incredible. The team who run

Much like October, November weddings are all about golden leaves and light – just a joy to shoot. November has been growing in popularity for weddings over the last couple of years, so it keeps us busy right into the winter, alongside us fitting in our annual jaunt to London for the Nine Dots Gathering week – a non-conference for wedding photographers. Here’s a first look at our November wedding photography…

Need to warm up? We’re having a look back at each high summer wedding we shot in August. We guarantee our fabulous couples, who gave us everything from tear-jerking speeches to confetti cannons, will warm your cockles. This month of thrills and spills included a mansion house party wedding weekend in Devon and adventurous tree-climbing newlyweds… Wedding at home in Kent August began with a trip to the garden of England for May and Rupert’s Kentish summer wedding. We had sunshine and showers, which made for an interesting day of dipping in and out of the marquee, but this

Autumn is one of our favourite times of year and we love an October wedding. There’s something so special about crunchy leaves, golden light and those crisp, cold days. This year for our October weddings we’ve captured the season’s beauty with our couples, at both engagement and wedding shoots. We even snuck in some product photography and a cute baby shoot too, as we offer baby photography exclusive to our wedding clients. Here’s a first look what we did in October…

A peek at the September weddings and shoots that have kept us busy, from a serene woodland wedding to a glamorous country retreat. Also, Lina escaped to Italy for some family time, and we captured a very special one year old’s birthday!

When we meet a wedding couple, we love to find out as much about them as we can. Everything from how they met, what their animals are called to how they take their [G N] tea and their favourite kind of food. Why? We just know these details make a difference when we’re photographing their wedding. Weddings matter so much to us, every one of them. This is what I wanted to take to my talk at the first WEDx event, a new series of seminars for the UK wedding industry. Hosted by Tracey Butterfield of Appleby Events, these seminars
