As we started to wind up 2017 we there were still more beautiful December weddings and babies to be photographed – here’s a look at the last wedding and lifestyle photography of the year.
Katie Matthews – Wedding Celebrant Promotional Photography
We’ve known the lovely Katie since 2013 when we photographed her wedding, and she is so much fun we’ve stayed in touch, photographing her family and friends on numerous occasions. Here we met up with her to create some promotional photography Katie can use on platforms such as instagram that show her fab personality, and how she’s a brilliant choice for fun couples who want a relaxed humanist ceremony.
Christmas Party Photography at the Dome
Our friends at Cambridge Dining Company have an awesome inflatable dome they hold rocking Christmas parties in, and they called us in to photograph one of their shindigs. A fantastic night, it’s always fun to provide corporate christmas party photography!
Snowy family fun!
We always love to bring a family together to have fun when we are booked for family photography, but this time Mother Nature decided to throw some snow in the mix – and we were so glad she did – so much fun!

Next up we headed up to Therfield Heath on a beautiful crisp morning to photograph the Asker family – it’s important to us to capture families being families and we love this moment.

Ben’s first photoshoot
Having photographed his sister as part of our exclusive-to-wedding-clients Baby Plan, now it was Ben’s turn, looking gorgeous at four months old!

Being resident in South Africa, we took the opportunity to catch up with Olivia and Calvin as they came home for Christmas. As well as looking at their fab wedding venue ahead of their August wedding, we headed out to Mersea Island for a fantastically atmospheric pre wedding shoot amongst the sea fog…

Much like Ben, we’d had the pleasure of photographing Emily’s brother throughout his first year, and now it was her turn, right before Christmas – and she aced it!

After a few days of stuffing ourselves silly it was back on with the straps for Charlotte and James’ December wedding at Anstey Hall! This day of golden light also gave us a missing element to our work so far when it comes to weddings – snow!
