Jo & Tom’s Sunset London Pre Wedding Shoot in Battersea Park

The light we had for Jo & Tom’s London pre wedding shoot was every photographer’s dream. At this time of year and throughout the summer, we love to hold photo shoots at sunset so we can pick up the low evening sun. We’d not shot in Battersea Park before and it was great – the golden glow of this shoot as the sun sets paired with Jo & Tom’s laughter (they make each other laugh a lot it’s lovely!) makes for a stunning shoot. We off to the Emerald Isle this weekend to shoot their wedding, our first in Ireland

Nicola & Elliott’s Colourful Camden Pre Wedding Shoot – London Wedding Photographers

In love in London Camden holds a lot of memories for us. Despite not meeting until our early twenties, our experiences of Camden hark back to when we were teenage grunge/skater kids respectively, picking up Pearl Jam/Metallica bootlegs at the market, so we were so looking forward to going back creatively as a London wedding photographers. We loved that Nicola & Elliott wanted to go back to their old haunt of Camden where their relationship kicked off, and we couldn’t believe we hadn’t shot in that area before to be honest. Thankfully the sun was on our side, so throw

International Women’s Day: It’s OK to not feel ‘strong’

Happy International Women’s Day! I have to start saying that really, as it was seeing this a lot on social media today that prompted me to write this post (and I want to). When I checked Facebook this morning, it encouraged me to share a post wishing a happy IWD to my girlfriends (just like it told me to share Happy Mother’s Day a couple of days ago – how would we remember anything these days without it?) and I see many of my lovely ladies have posted various images wishing us all the same. One thing I have noticed

Because your wedding photos are so much more than looking perfect

Happy Valentine’s Day all. Whether you are someone who is loved up and enjoying the day with your beloved, or if you’re still fancy free I hope you’re taking the time to feel hopeful for all the loved ones you do have in your life. I’m spending today designing our wedding album. That’s right, fourteen months down the line and it still hasn’t been done. You can see our lovely photographer Albert’s blog here if you want a peek of how our day panned out. But with this job, our clients always come first, and there is always another wedding

South Farm Wedding Summer

A Summer South Farm Wedding at the Reservoir

The past week has been pretty miserable weather-wise, grey and cold, so we thought it was time to spread some sunshine and look back at Jess and Chris’ gloriously sunny South Farm wedding photography from last summer. This was also the first opportunity we had to visit the South Farm reservoir during a wedding, and we took our lovely couple off to the water in the setting sun. We also love the splash of coral in this wedding! Here’s a selection of images from the day and you’ll find the credits at the end…

Luxury Star Wars Theme Wedding

The Force is Strong With this One! A Star Wars Wedding with Some Unexpected Guests…

Emma & Sean are fans of Star Wars, but rather than go all out in a themed wedding, they planned a subtle nod to their love of the movies combined with a classic summer wedding feel. A gorgeous pink and green scheme, with themed place names and favours, not to mention a gorgeous cake tumbling with Star Wars icons. However, as Emma, radiant in Maggie Sottero, and Sean, looking dashing in Stormtrooper monochrome were about to exit their ceremony, a couple of uninvited guests turned up to escort them, courtesy of the brilliant Star Wars costuming group UK Garrison who

A special save the date photo shoot

When Hannah and Kirk booked us for their wedding next year, they also wanted to do something a little different for their Save the Date cards. Hannah had seen some interesting shots on Pinterest and wondered if we could emulate the feel of them. You all know we love a creative challenge so we only too happy to oblige! We put Hannah in touch with Cambridgeshire illustrator Laura Bird and together we all headed to their chosen wedding venue, the gorgeous Childerley Barn, who had kindly let us use a space on their grounds for the shoot. Unfortunately it was

Brighton pre wedding engagement shoot

A Fun Brighton Beach Pre Wedding Shoot

Laura and Lewis are one of those couples who we feel like we have know for years rather than just eighteen months, so when they suggested a Brighton beach pre wedding shoot we knew we were in for a day of fun! Mother nature did her bit and despite it being the end of March it was a glorious bluebird day. Shock revelations though when we discovered that fireman Lewis had NEVER given his fiancée a fireman’s lift! So naturally it made for the perfect time. Throw in some whose-line-is-it-anyway-style doughnut drama and a dive bombing seagull to nick your ice

Zoo Engagement Shoot Shepreth Wild Animal Park

Leeming & Ian’s Fun Shepreth Wildlife Park Zoo Pre Wedding Shoot

When Leeming and Ian said to us that they wanted a ‘fun‘ pre-wedding shoot ‘somewhere like a zoo’, how could we resist? A quick email to the lovely folk at Shepreth Wildlife Park, a super bijou and unassuming little park but with big cats to rival Longleat amongst other favourite animals, and this zoo pre wedding shoot was on. You’ll probably know that we are huge animal lovers, so we were very excited! On the day we captured Leeming and Ian wandering through the animals and listening to keeper talks, and loved capturing some beautifully quiet yet intimate moments between

Tabby Cat Snarling

We don’t do the T-Rex wedding photobomb… unless it’s your cat…

A few years back, we all saw the emergence of the ‘T-Rex’ wedding photobomb. We’re not even sure we can tell you the originator, but we *think* it was an American photographer called J. Quinn Miller in 2013 with this shot. All good fun and it was great. Then we have all the other versions, you just need to search for it and you’ll get lots, some more successful that others. Last year a wedding photographer found himself with Jeff Goldblum as a guest, so he naturally recreated the T-Rex wedding photobomb, and this upstages the original a little. As
