As autumn is drawing ever closer, let’s take a look back to our April wedding photography – perfect for spring wedding planning and inspiration – and particularly if you are getting married at beautiful South Farm where we are delighted to be a recommended wedding photographer.
This was a month of firsts for us. Our first trip to Zurich for a destination pre-wedding shoot, then to Santorini for a summery Greek destination wedding, before heading back home for an incredible day at the prestigious Aynhoe Park wedding venue. And plenty more in between, read on to see what we did during this jam-packed month of memories.
Are you ready to see a sneak peek of an epic wedding? Kim and David’s Aynhoe Park celebration was utterly fantastic, a career highlight and 16 hours of pure fun!
Aynhoe Park is described as ‘not just any stately home’ but a magical place where you can explore the extraordinary – everything from precious fine art to exotic taxidermy animals to secret rooms full of curios. The perfect place to create unique memories.
The theme of April was definitely spring, with (blue)bells on! From lush blossom to a field of Dutch tulips, we shook off the winter in style for sure. Read for a peek of what our couples had in store for us this month with some fab April weddings and shoots…
We capture every part of your wedding. We’re here for your whole celebration, and if that means you want to party hard into the night – we’ll still be there! Why? Your day absolutely does not end with the first dance; it’s like missing the last chapter out of a book – where’s the fun in that?
So, we think you should choose a wedding photographer who’s there for the day and the night, to capture your party wedding photos, not packing up their gear after the first dance is done. Here’s why…
Anyone who knows us knows we love cats. It doesn’t take long for us to get on to the subject, and we often find ourselves chatting away about our kitties to fellow cat lovers for quite a long time. So, for this post, we’re asking you to indulge our love of all things feline. But it is related to cats at weddings!
Capturing pets at a wedding helps us tell your story – the story of your wedding day but also your past, present and future. We like to build a picture of what your lives are like, so you can look back fondly years later. We’re always meeting your furry friends when shooting weddings and it would be totally remiss of us not to take a photo of them. What kind of cat lovers would we be otherwise?
We’ve captured many cats, usually while the bride or groom gets ready, but occasionally at a wedding venue too. So, let us introduce you to some beautiful four-legged friends we’ve made on our journey as wedding photographers. Get ready for a lot of cute…
Our March photography was pretty epic as far as March’s go. Despite Spring not wanting to arrive, we still had a spring in our step this month! Here’s why…
After a busy January of appearing at the Knebworth Wedding Show, with a lovely image of Lina chatting away on their blog, followed by lots of new consultations and wedding bookings, it was lovely to get stuck in to shooting again in February. We were also freshly inspired by getting creative on our styled shoot in southern Iceland which we look forward to telling you about more soon!
When time’s tight on your wedding day, having a post-wedding shoot is a great way to celebrate your wedding destination away from the confines of time. This is exactly what Blanca and Elliot did during their destination wedding in Mexico. The day after their wedding we headed back to the beach to let our hair down and capture some memories by the sea.
Looking at this picture, you’d think we’d gone back to the 1950s! We had so much fun shooting Katy and Garry’s vintage-styled Cambridge wedding, and we’d love to tell you about it.
