When you send us an enquiry via our contact form, we add your name, email and telephone number (if provided) to our studio management software, who have confirmed they are General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant, and use it to respond to your enquiry. Any extra information provided is purely kept within our email server [Gmail.] Should your enquiry go no further, after approximately three months the date of your event is removed, and your enquiry is marked as cancelled. It will sit in our system for review / analytical purposes for up to seven years, but we will not contact you further.
Should you go on to book our services, we will request further data from you in the form of a questionnaire, in order to capture further data such as your address, to enable us to create your contract and invoice. Further data is then requested to enable us to carry out your booking, such as specific wedding details, and is all kept securely in our studio management software.
We may use your personal information to send statements and invoices; as well as collect payments from you, send you general communications or email notifications to allow us to administrate a booking or purchase. We may also use the data to send to you goods purchased via the website; and supply to you services purchased via the website, as well as provide third parties with statistical information about our website visitors (that does not identify you), and to deal with enquiries and complaints made by or about you relating to the website.
On carrying out your photography, we will share, with any permission granted as per the booking contract, selected images from your event, on our website/advertising/social media channels. Sharing images is the main way of advertising for a small photography business, and we rely on this permission to showcase our work. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
