The light we had for Jo & Tom’s London pre wedding shoot was every photographer’s dream. At this time of year and throughout the summer, we love to hold photo shoots at sunset so we can pick up the low evening sun. We’d not shot in Battersea Park before and it was great – the golden glow of this shoot as the sun sets paired with Jo & Tom’s laughter (they make each other laugh a lot it’s lovely!) makes for a stunning shoot. We off to the Emerald Isle this weekend to shoot their wedding, our first in Ireland so we are very excited! Here’s some picks from that glorious shoot….
A pre wedding shoot (also known as an engagement shoot) is a great way to get to know your wedding photographer before the big day. We treat the shoot as a chance for us to hang out and have a little fun, rather than a big staged photoshoot – unless that’s what you’re going for! 100% of our couples say a pre wedding shoot made them feel a whole lot better about being photographed on their wedding day, and made them more confident. Many couples say it makes them super excited too!
