Being the day the new Doctor Who is announced (woop for a lady!) we had to share this shot from the fantastic Doctor Who wedding we photographed yesterday as it is rather fitting! Our Dr Who superfan groom Marco protects his companion Verity from all that might challenge them in their lives ahead…
Given Lina’s former career as a theatre director and producer, whenever we meet couple’s with particular interests or those who maybe love a bit of theatricality, we love to get creative. Of course we love our documentary wedding photography and capturing special moments, but we also love getting creative for our couples. We wanted to give Marco a creative portrait that put him and Verity in their very own Dr Who poster. What do you think, did we achieve it?
Verity was in stunning bespoke Sharon Bowen-Dryden separates whilst Marco’s jacket was cut from the same reel of cloth as 11th Doctor Matt Smith’s! It was a day of unicorn balloons, bbq eats, space hoppers and attempts at circus skills – we loved it! Jodie Whittaker may be the 13th Doctor but at their Hunsbury Hill wedding yesterday it was all about Marco and Verity!
