WEDx – Seminars for the wedding industry
We’re happy (and a teensy bit nervous) to announce that Lina is confirmed as a speaker at the inaugural WEDx – seminars for the wedding industry, or in their words “a brand spanking new series of seminars for people who are serious about taking their business to the next level.”
Taking place at Wyboston Lakes on Monday 8th May 2017 from 9am, the day will feature six speakers working within the Wedding Industry. Each speaker will hold a Q&A Session following their talk to ensure that your burning questions get answered. The seminar will also provide an invaluable opportunity of networking with a community of like minded people. The speakers kicking off this first event alongside Lina are:

The keynote speaker for the first Wedx is Kat Williams of leading alternative bridal blog Rock n Roll Bride, who will talk about the ‘Critical Moment’ and how collaborations will grow your business.
Also speaking is Amie Bone Flowers – Florist Superstar. Celebrating 10 years in business with celebrations at Shangri-La at the Shard and astounding everyone with her Enamour installations at the National Wedding Shows.
Hear what it takes to reach and sustain longevity in the business, what it takes to work with A-listers and Celebrities and the planning involved in large scale projects.
May of our clients and followers will know Lee Smith. An award winning magician, charming illusionist, host and presenter. Engaging crowds and providing impact for his couples and clients through his magic, he also gives powerful motivational talks. This will be a great opportunity to learn a little of his [business] magic. He’ll be sharing tips on how to get more from wedding fairs and the secrets to selling higher prices in greater volume.
Alongside those super folks is Lisa Johnson, founder of Just Own This and coach. Lisa will be telling you How to Accelerate your Business Success.
Sammi-Jo Gascoyne is in the ‘breakthrough’ slot which is a fantastic idea. This is because Sammi-Jo will is a speaker who is making waves in the industry quickly. Sammi-Jo runs Blushing Cook, and is a super-cool cake and cookie designer. If you’re just starting out her tips are going to be invaluable.
So then there is lil’ole Lina – absolutely thrilled and a tiny bit terrified to be asked. Lina is going to talk about how nailing your brand will truly get you the clients you want. She’ll also talk about why weddings matter and as well a touching on the P-word… Yes, PRICING! Above all, we want you to find the extraordinary in your ordinary!
