We’ve shot some fun punting pre wedding shoots in the past, but Ruth and Danny’s had a twist, this time our very own Tom was the initial chauffeur. We tried something different, he punted so that we could give Ruth and Danny a go at ‘driving’, and what a hilarious decision that was! As well as the happy couple cuddling up in the punt, we saw them both try their hand at punting for the first time, with varying results, as we think the punt Danny hit would agree! No one ended up with damp feet though, so we were able to have a short stroll around Senate Passage, a beautiful part of the city, where they continued to make each other giggle, lovely stuff.
Rose and Adam wanted a relaxed walk in the park pre wedding shoot, and Wandlebury Park on the outskirts of Cambridge is perfect for this type of shoot, but also as it means we can meet at the Gog Magog Cafe which has awesome sausage rolls and cake, win!
It was a gloomy day so the woodland had a moody atmosphere, but then we found light between the trees and beyond as these two enjoyed a stroll in each others company, finishing out in the open. Both are blessed with beaming styles – they beamed at us lots, which was lovely!
We’re very much looking forward to what we’re sure will be a relaxed but fun wedding with them at the gorgeous Granary Barns, and here’s their shoot in the meantime to enjoy!
Ahead of Becky and Charlie’s wedding this weekend, we are revisiting their gorgeously autumnal pre-wedding shoot around Wandlebury in Cambridge. The colours in this shoot are just glorious, added to by Becy’s excellent choice of scarf, and it was a lovely day for a walk through the fallen leaves. October/November is such a great month for pre wedding shoots, the trees are glorious and life seems a little less hectic for all of us. We love the relaxed nature of this shoot, and we look forward to more great big smiles from these two at their Cambridge college wedding.
Having built their life in Cambridgeshire over the last few years, Laura and Matthew felt the city centre would be the perfect setting for their pre wedding shoot, and we’d never disagree. Cambridge city centre is glorious in the sunshine and we enjoyed visiting a few different spots with these two. There was however a cute kitty called Sam at home, so naturally we didn’t need much persuasion to pay him a visit!

We’ve been looking forward to Kim & Nick’s wedding for ages, ever since they told us they wanted to do things differently, choosing an alternative Alice in Wonderland theme for their wedding! Obviously this really excited us, but when we discovered we were booked for their original planned wedding date they actually moved it to suit our availability, so how can we not automatically love them!
For their Cambridge pre wedding shoot we headed to Milton Country Park, and Kim & Nick brought props that will be part of the wedding! We had a lot of fun with them, capturing their love as well as their personalities – we hope! We can’t wait to celebrate with these guys tomorrow, they don’t take themselves too seriously so we know the day will be fun. We’re particularly looking forward to hearing some rock and metal at a wedding 😉 which will also see us shooting our first ‘first look‘ – which having got to know them we know is right for these two. In the meantime, here’s some of their gorgeously sunny and quirky pre wedding shoot.

Mother nature was technically not kind during Kim and Steve’s rainy Cambridge pre wedding shoot, however as we always say, rain does not mean a ruined shoot! We had lots of laughs with them in the drizzle, and to us arty folk, a wet pavement at dusk is a thing of beauty – see for yourself…

Tracy and Matt are one of those couples who obviously have a lot of fun together. Their pre shoot in Cambridge was generally spent kissing, laughing and larking about, and smiling was infectious, so they were a lot of fun to be around! When they suggested ending their pre shoot with a glass of champagne at the Varsity Hotel’s roof terrace bar we very happy to spend some social time with them! Here’s a selection of the fun we had ahead of their Longstowe Hall wedding tomorrow – our first at this stunning venue!

Emily & Luke contacted us with our worst kind of enquiry: they’d been let down by their photographer and their wedding was mid-summer. Usually we have to write a sad ‘sorry we are booked email’ but not this time, we had one remaining Saturday left, which happened to be their wedding date, hurrah! We were also delighted to hear their reception was at relatively new Newmarket wedding venue Granary Barns which looks fab, so we are excited to be shooting there for the first time! Here’s a taste of a fun afternoon we had with them in Cambridge, which included a stop at the sweet shop in which Luke introduced us to fizzy peaches – a yummy revelation!
When deciding a location for their pre wedding shoot, Chris felt a trip down memory lane to Cambridge and his uni days was a natural choice. As well as heading back to Chris’ old haunt Emmanuel College for a stroll around the gardens, Claire and Chris decided punting would be fun and we didn’t disagree. We love a Cambridge punting pre wedding shoot, which works well because there are two of us; Lina beds down in the end of the punt, and Tom races between the bridges! We’re excited for their wedding tomorrow, not only because we are sure it’s going to be lots of fun but it will also be our first at the gorgeous Brocket Hall, Hertfordshire wedding venue and stunning Golf course. Here’s a taste of a sunny afternoon…
We’re super excited about Meghan and Simon’s London wedding tomorrow! We’ll be heading to Mayfair Library for their wedding ceremony before taking in some of the landmarks as part of their wedding photography.
In preparation, we had a great afternoon in Cambridge for their pre wedding shoot as a contrast to the London skyline which will undoubtedly feature in their wedding tomorrow. Many of you know we are total cat-lovers, so when they suggested starting the shoot at their flat so we could capture their gorgeous kitty Dotty we jumped at the chance! After cooing over the little lady for a while, we headed into Cambridge and loved taking in the sights with them. Meghan and Simon then thoroughly spoilt us by treating us to cake after at the gorgeous cafe Afternoon Tease (you should go!), huge brownie points there (no pun intended!)
