Why should we use Lina and Tom for our corporate photography?
We have been working together as photographers for over ten years, shooting a wide range of corporate and commercial events as well as weddings and lifestyle shoots. We have only ever worked together as a couple so have a finely tuned working relationship incomparable to working with a solo photographer or a solo and their second shooter.
We have won multiple awards for our wedding work and Lina has spoken professionally at a number of conferences both in the UK and worldwide as an expert on branding. She has also judged the internationally acclaimed Fearless Photographers awards.
Do you charge for travel?
There are no additional charges for shoots within a 20 mile radius of SG8. Other locations in close proximity to this radius are charged at our discretion, otherwise we add £0.45 per mile plus parking expenses. Note we live in a rural location so public transport is usually not a viable option.
We do travel nationally and internationally for both corporate and wedding photography. Do get in touch to discuss your individual requirements.
Will it always be both of you?
We genuinely believe we offer greater coverage and a higher quality package of photography by working together. This may mean in the case of Headshot photography for example that only one of us is shooting, but the other is directing/organising which helps in the efficiency of your shoot.
Having two photographers for your conference or Christmas party photography ensures a greater coverage of the event than a solo photographer can offer you. However should your needs really do only require one of us then we can discuss your particular requirements.
How do we choose our images?
We do not limit the amount of images we take or give you. Should your booking be for general coverage of an event or conference, we are confident in the high quality of our coverage, and will deliver you a complete set of edited images to tell the story of your event. For headshots, we provide 2-8 images per person photographed fully edited. We also provide a complete set in black and white as well as colour.
For branding or promotional shoots, we may provide a gallery of non-edited photos for you to choose from before making the edit, dependent on your package.
Is retouching included?
A general edit / retouch is standard before we deliver your images. If you require something more extensive we charge an hourly rate based on what is needed, please enquire to discuss your individual needs.
Do we have copyright of the photos to use them as we wish?
As the original author of the work we retain overall copyright, however we will issue you with a licence of use which should give you all the access you need. The price of the licence is included in the cost of the shoot, unless the licence requirements are as such that an additional fee is due, such as in the event of a worldwide release for example. We can discuss your individual needs on enquiry.
How long will it take to receive the images and how are they delivered?
We endeavour to turn around corporate work within a week and are happy to provide a small set of images for immediate press release overnight, if feasible within our existing schedule on booking.
In most cases we will send through your images in an online gallery for you to download.
How far in advance should we book?
We are happy to take bookings for large events up to a year in advance, and it should be noted that as we also work weddings, our availability will be at its busiest in the summer months.
For smaller shoots such as headshots or individual brand photography sessions, we should be able to find a slot within a few weeks. However like many situations, the sooner you enquire the best chance you have of your chosen dates.
Do you take a deposit and how do we pay?
When you are ready to book us for your corporate photography we will issue a booking form of terms and conditions, and take a booking fee if the overall fee is likely to be over £500. This is then deducted from the final invoice which will be sent through on completion of the work, and should be paid within 14 days if the images are to be used immediately. The best way to pay is by bank transfer.
Do we have to come to a studio for a portrait or headshot shoot?
We always try to come to your location and will decide on the best location for your needs. Standard headshots can be done using our portable studio at your office or using natural light locally. Once we have discussed your requirements we will make the decision on where to shoot based on our expertise.
How long do you keep the images for?
We keep RAW images from the shoot for 12 months, so should you run into any issues with your copies or require a different edit you can come back to us. The final edited photos from the shoot will be kept for at least 2 years.
Do you take passport photos?
This is a regular phone call we receive. We are happy to take them for a whole team but do not offer individual passport photo shoots. In all honesty, what we would have to charge for our time would not be very cost-effective for you!
